Who we are

Wasl is a brand owned and operated by Reckon Infotech, Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh 224001, India.

What we collect

When you create an account or place an order we collect only what the order needs:

• Your name, email address and mobile number
• The delivery address, including PIN code, that you enter at checkout
• Your order history, and the status of each shipment
• A password, stored only as a one-way hash — we cannot read it, and neither can anyone who obtains the file

We do not receive or store your card number, UPI ID, CVV or bank credentials. Those are entered on Razorpay's own secure checkout and never reach our servers. We only ever see a payment reference and whether the payment succeeded.

Why we collect it

• To take payment for, pack and deliver your order
• To send order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates
• To send a one-time code when you sign in, so nobody else can use your number or email to reach your account
• To answer enquiries you send us
• To keep the shop secure — for example, limiting repeated failed sign-in attempts from one address

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Who else sees it

Only the services that are needed to complete an order, and only the part each one needs:

• Razorpay — to take and, where applicable, refund your payment
• Our delivery partners — your name, address and phone, so the parcel can be delivered
• Our email and SMS providers — to deliver order updates and sign-in codes

Each of these acts on our instructions for that purpose alone. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Marketing email

If you subscribe to our newsletter we will email you about new collections. Every such email carries an unsubscribe route, and you can also ask us to remove you by writing to care@wasl.co.in. Order-related messages are not marketing and will continue as long as you have an open order.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember the contents of your bag between pages. It is required for the shop to function and carries no advertising identifier. Your browser can block it, but the bag and sign-in will stop working if you do.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to resolve them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete your account and its data. Write to care@wasl.co.in from the address on the account and we will respond within a reasonable period. Where an order is still in progress, or where tax law requires us to keep an invoice, we will explain what we cannot delete and why.

Children

The shop is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will publish the new version on this page and update the date shown below.
